Chapter seven. Um, whoo?

Eponine is only midly crazy. *cannot wait for the part where she asks Montparnasse to...can't give it away*

Whew. Banged out another chapter of 'Midnight Show'. Finally.

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2747543/21/

New chapters should be coming very soon for 'Nog Een Kus' and 'Deep Blue'.
[identity profile] latin-cat.livejournal.com
I can only apologise for the inordinately long wait. This is rather a slow chapter, and a lot shorter than first planned, but with any luck it may mean the next is not so long in coming. Just to say that I've a taken a huge liberty with Javert's first name, so please don't damn me for a heretic.
Also, though short this chapter has caused me no end of grief, so I would very much appreciate it, if people could review. Thanks.

Barely made it in time!

Just a piece of complete drivel. Very silly. Probably worth about as much time as I spent on it--ten minutes.

God, what was I doing when I wrote this? Oh, yes, drinking.

Really quite stupid.

I consider myself a very avid fanfiction writer...

But lately, I find it harder and harder to update my freakin' Les Miserables stories.

How do you guys get motivated to finish unholy long stories? (Midnight Show is pushing 40,000 words on my floppy disk) It's like I'm stuck! I start the next chapter, and stop halfway through.

Dammit.

After a hiatus of about three months (squandering my time reading Patrick O'Brian) I have finally forced myself to finish writing something. This was originally for the April challenge here - the secret talent one. It's a short, silly piece that has mainly been written to get me back in the mindframe. As always, constructive critcism would be welcome - after such a long time outside the fandom it's going to be difficult to get back in;

And so, several days late and after several months of no challenges, the September challenge is here!

In contrast to the secret talent challenge we had last time, this month we bring you The Secret Vice: a character has what he or she considers to be a vice, moral failing, or bad habit.

Can be as serious, humourous, slashy, innocuous, or shocking as you wish.

Let's welcome out newest member, [livejournal.com profile] mollisher!

It occurs to me that we haven't had a challenge in three months now. *twiddles thumbs*
[identity profile] 10littlebullets.livejournal.com
Is it just me, or has the fanfiction.net Les Mis section been drowned in a deluge of stupid lately?

...more so than usual, I mean.
[identity profile] shenth.livejournal.com
First off, sorry for being gone so long. I couldn't muster up the energy to do anything but read fics that weren't written by yours truely. But now...

Questions!

1)What sort of stationary object on the streets of Paris would be thin enough to fasten a handcuff to? I was thinking either a tree or lampost, but I need professional confirmation.

2)Is anyone interrested in adopting a plotbunny? I have a nice crossover here between Les Mis and The Stepford Wives where Enjolras replaces all of Les Amis with robots. Any takers?
[identity profile] erised-wings.livejournal.com
um, it is with humble apologies and feigned :) humility, I submit a crossover. It's only the second one I've ever written so perdoname. It was inspired a bit by a crossover posted here, and in part by a comment on my  T_M journal.

I'm not a Buffy fan so apologies if I butchered the Scourge.

Another warning: There may be more to it...hopefully. My brain has been dead lately.

Finally banged out another chapter of "Between the Dog and the Wolf." I'm finding that what I really need to produce writing is just to force myself to sit down, close all other windows and type. It's a bit like forcing myself to work out every day: a painful start but gets much easier after you do it for a couple of months.
[identity profile] snowyofthenight.livejournal.com
--here's a query, and proof that I never post anything on ff.net, because this has never happened before. What d'you do when near all reviews ask if there's going to be more, and say there should be, but you had absolutely no intention of doing that, and have no idea what a second chapter would contain? Pander to the people and try and churn it out, or just stick with what you've got?
[identity profile] axmxz.livejournal.com
Finally updated "Between the Dog and the Wolf". Yeah, yeah, I know, it's been months...
[identity profile] toi-marguerite.livejournal.com
Two things:

1. Is it just my computer, or is the Les Mis section on ff.net down?
2. Is there going to be a challenge this month?

I lied. Three things.
3. Happy belated barricade day! Yippee, everyone got shot.
[identity profile] latin-cat.livejournal.com
This update is well overdue... along with several others, but I'm getting round to it. Slowly. In case you've all forgotten which one this is, this is the other vampire one that isn't the Javert/Dracula pairing.
Please also feel free to correct me on any mistakes you find, as it's gone midnight over here and I am not at my most coherent. Please also excuse the overtly keen young sergeant-de-ville; you've met him before. Ta very much.
Chapter2 - "Relapse"
[identity profile] snowyofthenight.livejournal.com
I couldn't think of anything to write for the challenge because I lose, but I felt like I ought to post something, and happened to stumble across this. I wrote it a while back and haven't looked at it since, so I apologize. XD

At last, something for the challenge. Marius loses a five- franc piece, Feuilly finds it, and Monsieur Gillenormand draws his own conclusions. As it is very late where I live, I am now going to bed.
